CLOSING for Hunting
Since we can not let the deer taunt us Wolcott Guns Inc will be CLOSING early on Fri Nov 15th at 5pm and will be CLOSED all day on Saturday Nov 16th for the Opening weekend of Regular Season Hunting. We will resume regular hours on Tues Nov 19th.

NYS NICS Background Checks
Due to the newest law going into effect on Sept 13, 2023 all gun and ammo purchases require a NYS NICS check be done. The fee for a firearm check is $9.00 and the fee for a ammo check is $2.50 which must be paid regardless of the response from NYS. Please keep in mind they are not always instantaneous.
Bringing in a Firearm?
All firearms must be in a case, box, range bag or holstered when entering the store/range.
No firearm should be removed from its case, box, range bag or holster unless given permission from a Wolcott Guns Inc employee or it is inside of the shooting booth that you have been assigned to.
Shooting Range Dress Code
Range Insurance requires all persons using our range to wear proper attire. This excludes but is not limited to: 1. Any footwear that your foot can be seen. No crocs, sandals, flip-flops, open toed or open heeled shoes etc. 2. Any low cut shirts, tank tops with open sides/backs, or hanging necklines etc.
Firearms Pickup
Effective IMMEDIATELY
If you have purchased a firearm or are doing a transfer and have run a 4473, you have 30 days to pick it up. After the 30 days Wolcott Guns Inc must run a new 4473 and you will be charged an additional $10.
Armed Women of America
Wolcott Guns Inc is proud to announce that The Armed Women of America Buffalo Chapter is hosting their meetings in our facility. It is the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Ladies if you are interested in more info please contact them or stop in and check them out.
